Hey there! Welcome to Counterpoint!
Counterpoint Training company is an auditioned vocal performance company that challenges its students to do hard things and to think beyond being the artist but also as an “ARTrepreneur”. Through learning vocal production numbers in various musical genres (pop, rock, music theater, country etc.) and dance styles (jazz, tap, ballet, etc.) they work to improve and refine their vocals not only as a soloist but also as a group and understanding harmonies, balance and blend as well as overall performance techniques.
Students work on their different dance abilities and skills to be challenged to grow as overall performers. Throughout the year they learn about audition techniques, headshots, resumes, social media dos/don’ts. Students also learn about songwriting and even get to record an album in the spring! Over the course of the year they get an opportunity to experience and learn in various formats of the music and performing arts industry all while working with with a team of like minded individuals to see what is possible!

Will create a story board, learn music, choreo, and on camera performance skills. Record the vocal track in a professional recording studio and work with the production team to create and perform in a music video this summer!

Voice
This is an 8 week online course. You will learn tips and tricks Tracie has learned over the years helping students prepare songs. This course will give you steps, techniques and tools to feel more comfortable and confident as a vocalist and performer!
